Another example of fifties advertising, a 2nd version of the "Remington Rand Shaver/Tune In Next Week/Stopette" combination. This version aired October 2nd 1955. These two commercials come from a program which I also uploaded in it's entirety.

I Uploaded This, Thanks Joey!
Of course, classic commercials like these, while entertaining, seem to get really cloying reviews telling us to be happy. Sorry, but I'm NOT happy, largely because of the amazingly UNFUNNY economic crisis, world poverty and Octomom. Especially Octomom. But who am I? I am the King of Games!!!!!
Now look, I uploaded this commercial, it's cute, warm, appealing, historic and fabulous. Maybe not as fabulous as a M-G-M movie, but still pretty fabulous.
Remingington Rands reminds us about it's wonderful trade-in allowence. The host notes that with all these mix-ups in time, to always check your local listings for the next weeks episode. Stopette, meanwhile, tells us about it's NEW Stopette for men.
Do they still make Stopette?
Amazingly, thiese classic bits of stuff are far more entertaining than listening to Seto Kaiba's constant whining. Now, if you excuse me, I have to go save the world from evil, again.
